Job Profiling & Additional Job Matching A gainst McQuaig Job Survey
Assessing key objectives and outcomes , job duties and responsibilities , skills and knowledge required , and any other fundamental areas related to the job. Broken down it looks like this:
- Working with the Hiring Manager and some other employees with a good understanding of the role in order to get a true assessment of the role.
- Running a McQuaig for the job profile
- Job matching 2 candidates against the job.
Job Posting
Create position posting , determine best sites/strategy and post job advertisement
Resume Screening
Screen all Resumes that have come in through the job posting process.
Telephone Interviews
Develop appropriate telephone interview questions for the role and perform phone interviews for up to 5 candidates for a specialized role and 7 candidates for a more general role.
Candidate Summary Report
Summary report on strengths and weaknesses of candidates , their potential fit for the role and the Company and Recruiters feedback.
Reference Checks and Background checks
Conducting a thorough reference check to gather information from candidates’ previous employers; this is a crucial step in recruiting to get an important perspective of the candidates’ previous work performance. Reference checks are used to illicit information about candidates’ strengths, areas for development , and other performance related information. Maximum of 3 references.
Our team will conduct a detailed background check to ensure that potential job candidates’ credentials are legitimate, and ensuring that our clients are aware of any criminal record a candidate could potentially have.
Conduct In-Person Interview(s)
Go on site and participate in interviews. Work in conjunction with the Hiring Managers in doing onsite interviews.
Coach Hiring Manager on Conducting Interviews
As a coach, we will walk our clients through the steps of conducting an interview, provide a script along with a list of suggested questions to use as a guideline, and provide general coaching tips around how to conduct an effective job interview.
Also in reviewing the candidates we will discuss any red flags for the managers to be prepared for.
Offer Preparation and Presentation
Drafting an offer letter to be presented to sought after candidate, along with coaching and a script to present the letter to the candidate.
Inform Non-Selected Candidates
Reaching out to candidates who were not selected in the hiring process to thank them for their interest in the organization and encourage them to continue following the company for future hiring opportunities.
Will also provide feedback and coaching to those candidates not selected, requested.
Orientation
Develop orientation program with Hiring Manager and ensure regular checks during the orientation phase.

In-House Recruiting for Fixed Period
We work collaboratively with your organization as your in-house recruiting team to ensure that every step of the hiring process from job profiling to the offer letter preparation and presentation is taken off of your plate.
Oversee internal candidate selection/promotion process
Due to the awkwardness of dealing with Internal Candidates, one of our recruiters will handle the process from start to finish, beginning with internal (and external process where appropriate), and can offer any of the services above as well. The final result will also include our recruiter sitting down with any internal candidates not selected and offering feedback and coaching to them.
Initial Assessment of Current Hiring Practices and Tools
We will review the current hiring processes, templates, and tools you have in place. We will provide recommendations on how to improve the processes, templates and tools.
